2020 Cloud and Containers Predictions

With the start of 2020, there are new predictions dictating that the container as well as cloud systems are going to be a massive hit in this year and the very reason following which these predictions are made, includes a direct increase in the agility and automation of applications. Many comparisons had also been made in the past regarding Kubernetes and other cloud computing systems but as we advance towards a more stable cloud derivative infrastructure, a quick comparison of containers and cloud systems is bound to happen. That is why this article will be specifically focusing over the future of cloud and containers including the very predictions that have been made by professionals and enthusiasts of their respective fields. So, without further ado let's get right into it;

The concept of open source

There are many competitors when attending to the usage of cloud such as Amazon, Microsoft and of course the Google as well. There happens to be a universal fight within these cloud vendors for attracting more customers and making their stay worthwhile while they still can. The prediction that has been made here indicates that all of these cloud vendors would have to fight for their customers and also provide them with better services. On top of that these organizations would also be finding ways to make the process of cloud development and deployment easier and faster.

Open source will be playing a massive role in this approach because it looks out for the community of developers and professionals pushing their knowledge hard to make the process of deployment and development agile, consistent and much more efficient. The containers fundamental can also be of huge help here as these are also the open source entities and can be molded as per the requirements of the user.

On the other hand Amazon, Microsoft and Google will only be looking out for their own stuff that is why these organizations should find a common ground where they can better interact with the open source interface to facilitate a large crowd of professionals.

Kubernetes for everything

In the recent history of cloud computing Kubernetes has recently surpassed the Docker system which was in its own the most fundamental container based technology of its day. But the future has something else in store and it belongs to Kubernetes. According to a prediction Kubernetes will be hosting every data technology in the world. This might not happen in 2020 but it is a much more debated upon likeability. Many cloud vendors would opt for the features and functions provided by Kubernetes that is why the uprising of the future regarding cloud computing and other facilitated services belong to Kubernetes. There are of course going to be many setbacks and bottlenecks such as dealing with the ever increasing demand of storage and other related resources but the professionals are trying their level best to address these issues as we speak.

The data community is backing up Kubernetes which simply states that it's domination is assured but the importance of secondary technology which is required to run this platform in its most efficient form can’t also be ignored.

Dominating cloud computing with hybrid cloud

There have been talks of hybrid cloud and related technologies for quite some years now, but these have always been just that talks but many professionals and cloud developers believe that 2020 might be the year all of these come true. But in order to assess this prediction you must know what a hybrid cloud is; on the Internet you would find many definitions but the most befitting is to address hybrid cloud as a combination of two or more cloud environments, these can be public or private depending upon the very vendors or users not doing business on it.

Many organizations would the first refuse to use hybrid cloud if made available to them but eventually when the data starts growing out of bounds and they're running short on storage everyone would be gasping for this amazing technology we only hear in chatter known as hybrid cloud.

Cloud assures data protection but not without a few integrations

Many people now a days have the possession of one or more smart technological systems or devices which they use to surf the internet and secure their personal or other forms of data. All this data is stored both in the form of structured and unstructured data. People are sharing what they like, posting their heart out on social media and subscribing to a variety of known as well as unknown vendors without first noticing that how vulnerable it leaves them online.

What if cyber criminals get ahold of this data and use it against the user who posted/shared this online, some of the social media sites have also been accused of selling their user data and or sharing them with the political campaign teams to get favorable results during the election. Therefore, there needs to be some integrations such as dealing with the cyber breaches or other dedicated vulnerabilities that exist in cloud and coming up with a single standard that should be implemented to secure data as well as the cloud.

More cloud necessarily means more can be managed

Many companies are always searching for new and better options that can help them improve how their services or products reach the customers. With the help of cloud computing this can be achieved but not only this objective but many other great things that accompanied. Public cloud adoption would likely be increasing in year 2020 and this huge shifting would help the companies to take advantage of other technologies that accompany it.

The very reason for this increase in adoption rate is because it is easier, faster and much more affordable than any other option available on the Internet. using this approach companies wouldn't have to test and implement their products using custom data centers and this for once is a huge leap into a more bright and digital future.  The azure administration certification can also be of prime value for the professionals looking forward to carve their career around cloud computing.
