• If you want to upgrade your VMs from 4 core 16 GB to 8 core 32 GB due to performance issues, what are the steps to take for that?
• Well, to upgrade VMs, you will have to ask from the application owner, as it will take time to upgrade VMs, and it will also restart afterward. Now, you will have to go to all the VMs you want to upgrade and change its size from 4core 16GB to 8core 32GB. Once you select it, it will start upgrading and will be completed after some time.
• How to enable the availability set of virtual machines running azure cloud environments?
• Well, this cannot be done. As there is a limitation that we cannot enable the availability set when the system is running. For that, we will have to create new VMs and set it up at the start.
• Is there any possibility that we can enable NGS in Vnet when we do not want to enable it on VM level?
• No, we cannot enable the NSG in Vnet, but yeah there is one thing we can associate it with the subnet that will help to manage the NSG.
• What is NSG, and how can we create one?
• NSG is nothing but a communication service that helps you connect with certain ports and deny others. You just need to go to all services, provide the required information like name, location, etc, and create the NSG.
• Can we host a VM from another region when it was created in some other region?
• Yes, we can connect to a VM when we are in a different region. But for that, we need to create an interconnection between both the regions through a virtual network.
