Amazon Echo Plus Review
The Verge did a detailed review of Amazon Echo Plus. While the review is mostly positive, they found that the Echo Plus works with ZigBee and WiFi products, but does not work with Z-Wave devices. ZigBee and Z-Wave are two types of smart home devices that are not interchangeable, so you can either work with one or another, but not both. If your smart home devices communicate to the central hub using ZigBee technologies, you can use the Amazon Echo Plus to serve as the device to control everything with your voice. Read More>>
Android Will Make the Roads Safer With Its ‘Do Not Disturb’ Mode
You are on the road, the sun is about to set, you have rolled down the windows and are enjoying the evening breeze, and all of a sudden, you hear a familiar beep. It could be a notification, a message, may be even a call. Out of pure instinct, you reach for your phone to check it out, taking your eyes off the road putting your safety and that of those around you, in jeopardy. Well, Android has a function that can prevent distracted driving by recognizing when you are driving and limiting the number of alerts you receive while on the road. iPhone X Is Not Equipped To Survive the Long Night
While the iPhone X is receiving the kind of warm welcome we expected it to receive, and it is one of the hottest pieces of gadgets out there, it is simply not equipped to handle cold temperature. Quick drops in temperature, such as the kind you experience when in presence of a paranormal entity, leave the screen unresponsive. This means that if you live in an area where it gets really cold, or where the Night King is about to descend with his army, you will not be able to use your phone.
